As official technology partner, MAHLE is supporting the DTM in the introduction of the new, all-electric DTM Electric. With many years of experience in technology and motorsport, we are making a significant contribution to the realization of the sustainable racing series. To take sustainability in racing to the next level, we focus our research and development efforts on both e-fuels and electric drives. In keeping with the motto "From the race track to the road," we continue testing innovations under extreme conditions to develop them to production readiness.
The DTM Electric is set to become a racing series that is absolutely challenging in sporting terms and will be globally electrified in the medium term. With more than 1,000 horsepower and top speeds of well over 300 kilometers per hour, the series will offer sustainable racing at the highest level.
MAHLE is the official technology partner and has been accompanying the new all-electric racing series from the very beginning - in development and as a supplier.

MAHLE develops and supplies innovative thermal management solutions for the traction motors, the transmissions as well as the power electronics of the fast electric touring cars for the DTM Electric.
But MAHLE engineers have other innovations up their sleeves for the e-sportsmen, such as immersion cooling. It can cool battery cells highly efficiently and uniformly. This is an important prerequisite for the high power calls in motorsports and also makes it possible to fully charge the racing vehicles again within a few minutes.
It is clear that e-fuels will also play an increasingly important role in other racing series in the future. MAHLE has been a technical partner of the DTM for many years and contributes, among other things, its expertise in the use of sustainable fuels. For the manufacturers, teams, and suppliers, this represents an extra workload in terms of development. "As a partner of the various manufacturers, we are also involved in this issue. And we have played a key role in initiating the DTM's decision to soon use new fuels and thus become increasingly sustainable," explains Türk.
