MAHLE FluidPRO® Oil Control is an automatic, compact and intelligent system - and easy to operate. When an oil change is due on a vehicle, the mechanic first connects the vacuum hose of the device to the oil filler cap in the engine compartment using a vehicle-specific adapter. The device then draws a vacuum so that the oil drain plug can then be unscrewed without dripping or spilling. The mechanic then connects another adapter with a shut-off valve to the oil pan screw for the waste oil drain hose. Now the automatic drain cycle starts. The whole process is completed in less than 60 seconds and all the engine oil has been drained. The device also weighs the recovered oil. This makes it possible to assess the oil level in the engine.
